VIN entry needs to be fixed or improved. The tool does not read the vin before you have to enter the NASTF credentials so you have to read the vin and transfer the info. So far even with entering the NASTF credentials it has failed on newer FORDS and FDRS still had to be used. Failed on newer GM too and Toyota. Why bother with entering NASTF each time before you can do anything when the tool fails anyway? Hopefully they will fix this.

I tried programming keys on 2018 Honda odyssey and 2016 F250. this tool has paid for itself already and is a reliable long-term investment. beyond the impressive IMMO functions, the full systems diagnosis is incredibly fast. This bidirectional scanner is actually pretty good. lt not only pulled the original PIN code from the ECU but walked me through reprogramming both keys in under 15 minutes. The launch x431 immo plus works well. It programs keys for most cars, and support a lot of diagnostic functions. I've used a daily for the past few weeks on various makes and models.The setup was quick, and runs smoothly. Most importantly, it's easy to use. The menu is straightforward to navigate. I was amazed by this! I've programmed a key for 2013 Toyota matrix, and 2016 Acura. I can see live data and diagnostic data as well very useful. A fantastic instrument for locksith looking to increase their efficiency and service offerings. Five stars

This scanner has really impressed me. It is VERY easy to use and diagnose check engine codes. Display is easy to read and navigate. My truck had a check engine light on and I used this to diagnose it is an EVAP issue. I cleared the code and got the parts to make the repair myself. Everyone should have one of these at home or in their vehicle.

I'm a Volkswagen owner, so naturally a code reader is essential equipment. This is a code reader. It reads codes, clears codes, shows some other vehicle information, and that's about it. It does its job and for the roughly $20something I spent on it, I'm satisfied.It's powered through the OBD2 port and has no battery power, so it has to be plugged in to actually function and it doesn't save any information as far as I can tell. But, it's also pretty cheap, so who cares?
